Assistant Accountant | Stroud | £28,000 - £33,000

Globally recognisable brand, based near Stroud, is seeking an Assistant Accountant. This role is a key role in supporting the finance function. You will be level AAT 3 or higher, and be able to commute to the HQ.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing supplier accounts
• Process bank transactions
• Assist with month end close
• Prepare journals including accruals and prepayments
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations 
• Support preparation of management accounts
• Assist with payroll
• Support on compliance and controls

Your Profile:

• AAT level 3 and above
• Previous experience in a finance role 
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience using an accounting software
