Accounts Receivable Supervisor - Bristol

You will be working for this central Bristol based business as their Accounts Receivable Supervisor, managing a team of 6. You will have the potential to earn £250/per month bonus within this role!

Your daily duties will cover:

• Ensuring customers adhere to their payment terms through effective management of team members.
• Resolving queries in a timely manner.
• Developing customer relationships to improve the service delivered by the Accounts Receivable team.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers in addition to other agencies.
• Working with the credit control team to pro-actively ensure that overdue debt, due debt and unallocated cash are dealt with in a timely manner in addition to ensuring queries are resolved.
• Ensuring overdue accounts are escalated to the legal team in a timely manner.
• Responsible for carrying out the Month and Year End processing.
• Be accountable and take ownership for your allocated ledger and be pro-active in managing the collection and resolution of the debt and individual queries.
• Improving percentage of debts paid to terms.
• Reduction of aged debt profile.
• Escalation of accounts in line with agreed collection paths.
• Allocation of any unallocated cash.

To be considered for this role you will need:

Academic qualifications:

• Educated to reasonable level.
• ICM level 3 (or studying towards) would be desirable.

Knowledge/background:

• Accounts receivable experience essential.
• Experience of managing a team desirable.
• Flexible approach to working hours especially at month/year end.
• Intermediate Excel skills essential.
• Demonstrate experience of working with internal customers at all levels.
