Accounts Payable Assistant - Gloucester

Element Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established business in Gloucester who are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team for a 1/2 month temporary basis.

You will be

  • Processing a high volume of invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Producing BACS payment runs
  • Handling supplier queries efficiently
  • Investigating and monitoring unallocated payments
  • Ensuring all issues are resolved by month-end deadlines
  • Assisting with other finance-related tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will have

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger
  • Knowledge of supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ability to process large volumes of invoices accurately
  • A professional telephone manner and strong teamwork skills
