Accounts Assistant - Part time 20 - 25 hours - Chippenham

Element Recruitment is proud to be working with a successful organisation in the Chippenham area who are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic growing team. The hours will be from 20 - 25 a week, with flexibility on start / finish times. Ideally you will be in the office 1 or 2 days a week.

This role offers an exciting challenge to the right candidate, as you’ll be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all financial transactions. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement processes to improve the financial operations of the business.

The finance assistant will be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of two years’ experience of working in finance
• An accounting or finance-related degree
• Experience in using accounting software systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving

As the accounts assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting of the company. This will include managing the accounts payable, cash & banking and expenses and ensuring the accuracy of all financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, preparing budgets and forecasts, and reconciling bank accounts. You will also be expected to review and analyse financial information and provide advice to senior management.
