Element Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well established business in West Bristol who is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join a busy finance team. You'll need to be organised, adaptable, and comfortable working under pressure while handling sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile incoming payments across multiple accounts
Monitor shared mailboxes and maintain accurate records in internal systems
Raise and send invoices across various categories including monthly, ad-hoc, and annual fees
Support with credit schedules, low liquidity monitoring, and fee arrears reconciliations
Set up and maintain direct debits and update client details as needed
Liaise with internal teams and external clients to resolve queries and ensure timely payments
Assist other teams within the accounts department as required
Skills & Experience:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proactive, with an analytical approach to solving problems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications
A team player with a professional and discreet approach to sensitive data
