I’m delighted to announce the promotion of Zoe Hester to People & Development Director at Element.
Zoe joined Element nearly four years ago as a Division Manager, with a clear mission: to recruit and train a high-performing team of consultants. Over the years, she has done exactly that and more, being promoted to Senior Manager after 18 months and having responsibility for our Business Support, HR and Legal divisions. Zoe has built talented, dedicated teams who consistently hit their financial targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
With strong, self-sufficient teams now in place, Zoe has taken on the broader challenge of rolling out this successful model across the business.
In her new role, Zoe is responsible for identifying and recruiting consultants across all teams, ensuring a smooth and supportive onboarding experience, and delivering effective training to help new starters ramp up quickly. She works closely with consultants and managers to ensure coaching and development is targeted, impactful, and aligned with our values - supporting individuals to progress through billing success and behavioural excellence.
Zoe brings a professional yet approachable style to her work. She is deeply respected by her colleagues and genuinely invested in their success. Her commitment to mentoring and support has helped countless team members flourish.
In addition to training and development, Zoe will also be focusing on key strategic areas including succession planning, identifying and nurturing future managers, and refining our incentives and rewards to ensure we continue to attract, retain, and motivate the very best talent.
She also plays a vital role in shaping Element’s future - mapping out growth strategies for current teams, exploring new markets and locations, and constantly seeking ways to improve processes. Her ultimate aim is to ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients and candidates, building lasting relationships and establishing Element as the recruiter of choice, not just for hiring needs, but as a trusted partner for market insight, salary benchmarking, and industry expertise.
We have bold ambitions for the years ahead, and with Zoe as part of the leadership team driving these plans, I know we're in excellent hands.
