How it Began
I joined Element in January 2019, after 4 years at a Corporate recruitment company. I originally joined the business as a Manager on our Accountancy & Finance Division and have recently been promoted to Associate Director.
Why Element?
What I love about working for Element is that no two days are the same. I have the ability to genuinely help businesses of various size and complexity, shape their future talent plans and I enjoy helping finance professionals build and grow their career. I have also recently had the opportunity to help Element shape our future, working closely with the business owners and my peers to review our value proposition, growth plans and most importantly.. what coffee machine we have!
Tom Outside of the Office
Away from work, I’m a mad Norwich fan and I can be found either be chasing a football around a pitch, my dogs around a field or trying to stop my golf ball going into a bush (rarely all at the same time). Over the course of the next year, I look forward to growing my team at Element, getting on a plane to a sunny destination or 2 and reducing my golf handicap.. 2 of those targets are more realistic than the other..!
Advice for People Considering a Recruitment Career
If you were thinking about changing career into recruitment, I can genuinely say it is one of the most rewarding and challenging career opportunities around. You get to work with a fantastic bunch of people at Element, who all strive and support eachother to be the best we can be every day. You have the opportunity to build and grow a network of professionals in your field, many of who become friends and you become their go to person! You also have the ability to take control of your career, with the opportunity to progress, build a team, grow into new regions.. the options available are limitless!
