Systems Accountant - Gloucester

Are you an IT / Finance hybrid who enjoys a project orientated role? We are working with a compassionate and upstanding organisation in Gloucestershire to find a Systems Accountant. Remote working is available, although ability to travel to their head office once a week would be desirable. 

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your role will be to ensure all systems which have a financial impact on the group, operate in an optimal, efficient and integrated manner.

• Management and development of the main finance system
• Maintain coding structures and provide support to system users
• Support other key systems such as HR, payroll, procurement and operations
• Post-acquisition system integrations
• Potential further implementations, if necessary
• Write manuals and deliver end user training
• Continuous process improvement

Your Profile:

• Experience and involvement in a system implementation
• Knowledge of finance / finance systems (Ideally worked in a finance role)
• Experience of vendor selection process - desirable
• Strong communicator
