Element Recruitment are currently working with a innovative worldwide provider of essential goods, who are looking for a supply chain administrator to join their team.

As a supply chain administrator you will be continually working to maintain optimum stock levels, whilst also liaising with Suppliers to schedule important deliveries of material, actioning daily exception messages, maintaining system parameters and ensuring deliveries are received on time in full.

Based in Bath, offering a mixture of home based and office working.

This is a fixed term 6 month contract.

Salary: £26,550

Job responsibilities:

  • Actioning all MRP exception messages on a daily basis
  • Review ERP recommendations to prepare
  • Validate and schedule purchase orders
  • Utilise inventory tools and techniques to ensure right sizing of inventory availability
  • Manage inventory levels and check for any potential risks to supply
  • Build relationships with suppliers ensuring the deliveries are received on time in full

You will have:

  • Experience in the use of ERP systems
  • Experience with and sound knowledge of the basics of inventory management
  • Good level of IT understanding, including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to build relationships and demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
