Shipping Team Leader - Bristol - North

Element recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Manufacturing company (with a difference) in North Bristol. As Shipping Team Leader you will support be responsible for the overall management, quality, timeliness and output from the Logistics operation. Including managing the daily sorting of inbound repairs from customers, Other Equipment Manufacturer’s and our European Repair Centre. You will small team of administrators.

This is a permanent role paying £25,000 + benefits. The team promotes well being and have an agile approach to working.

Duties include:

• Ensuring accurate records are managed and updated
• Documenting existing procedures, and ensure that moving forward all work streams and Customer specific instruction are also documented
• Managing relationships with key stakeholders in the business
• Ensuring that all necessary Health & Safety procedures are understood and implemented without exception;
• Managing a team of 2 administrators

You will need:

• Management experience
• Experience working in a similar logistics / shipping role
• Experience of using a CRM system
• The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
