You will be working for this established Bristol based firm who are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk on a contract basis til July/Aug 2019. You will be part of a dynamic, hard working, fun AP team who are growing due to business performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Working out VAT payments
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Filing invoices
  • Managing petty cash
  • Data entry
  • Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good reconciliations experience
  • Solid team working skills
  • Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
  • Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages
  • Knowledge of software packages such as SAGE and BACS
  • Ability to work to deadlines
