Senior Management Accountant - Gloucester

Growing manufacturing organisation in Gloucester is seeking a Senior Management Accountant. You will be a qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant with strong communication and interpersonal skills. This business has had a cash injection and has doubled in size over the last 2 years, with plans to keep expanding. If you enjoy making your mark on a business - then this is the role for you. You don't have to have previous experience in manufacturing but an understanding of Standard Costing is essential. You'll also have strong Excel skills. There is also an in-built career path to progress.

Responsibilities will include:

• Produce monthly management accounts
• Monthly cost centre / department reports
• Variance analysis
• Assist with the budget & forecasting process 
• Balance sheet reconciliations 
• Support review of financial processes and controls
• Support with costing reviews and price analysis

Your Profile:

• Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Strong communicator
• Strong Excel skills
• Understanding of standard costing - ideally in manufacturing
