A thriving company in North Bristol is seeking a Revenue Accountant. As the Revenue Accountant you will be responsible to effectively recognise revenue into the Profit and Loss account ensuring data is verified and accurate.  

In order to succeed in this job, you should have strong Excel, be able to communicate with people at all levels, and are a well-organised individual.

Responsibilities include: 

• Oversee monthly revenue processes, ensuring that the company's data is accurately recorded in conjunction with the reporting deadlines.
• Manage the checking and process revenues relevant to all other revenue streams
• Perform reconciliations of debtor balances and investigate any outstanding balances.
• Respond to queries as to how income has been recognised.
• Maintaining accurate records for audit purposes.

The ideal candidate would have:

• A financial background (AAT or Part-Qualified Accountant).
• A good understanding of double entry accounting.
• Previous Revenue Accounting and Reconciliations experience.
• Strong excel skills.
• A strong attention to detail.
