(3 Month Temporary) - Potential for Permanent Placement!

£13.00 - £14.50 per hour | Bridgwater/ Hybrid

We are seeking a proactive and driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a leading UK business in their field. This temporary role offers the potential for permanent placement, along with opportunities for professional development and training. The position is progressive, ideal for a curious individual eager to grow within a dynamic environment. This hybrid role offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to a well-established company.

The Role:

  • Manage and reconcile the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy.
  • Resolve discrepancies in payment proposals and process urgent invoices.
  • Request missing invoices and manually allocate payments.
  • Review and adjust intercompany balance statements.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and support the production of financial accounts.

You must have...

  • Proficient in Sage and experienced with other accounting software.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone support skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in Purchase Ledger or a similar finance role.
