Project Accountant - IFRS17 - Bristol - Central

Element Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a growing, international client based in Central Bristol in their search to engage with an experienced Project Accountant, for a significant period of change. 

Working closely with the Head of Finance and Finance Director, this role will be pivotal the business continue to adapt to IFRS17 standards and requirements. You will be the key point of contact for all IFRS17 matters, including being a proactive business partner to key heads around the business and responsible for establishing accounting processes in relation to IFRS17. You will also support the wider ongoing change agenda within the business, offering expertise on technical matters where required. 

To be considered for this role, the right candidate must have experience of IFRS17 within an insurance/regulated environment, with a strong and measured approach. You will consider yourself to be an effective business partner and confident within your experience across technical accounting while being versatile to varying project needs. 

This role can be based both at home and in the office and is an initial 6 month engagement. FTC is preferred, however day rate may be considered for the right candidate.
