Project Accountant - Bristol - North

Element Recruitment are delighted to be working with an internationally recognised, market leading client based in North Bristol as they look to engage with a Project Accountant to join their growing team.

Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for providing finance and decision support to project managers, providing monthly reporting and analysis including providing input and insight to the monthly forecast and budget process. You will proactively provide a business partnering service to non finance budget holders, enabling them to take ownership and understanding of their financial performance and encourage more financially aided and accurate decision making whilst assisting the Head of Finance to ensure robust compliance and controls.

This role would be ideal for a recently Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or a Part-Qualified Finalist, who possesses strong communication skills and confidence to liaise with all levels of the business, previous proven experience of preparing monthly management reporting, budgets and forecasts whilst proactively business partnering key budget holders. Experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential and you are expected to have strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience of a large finance ERP system.

You'll be paid a competitive salary in line with the current market, whilst this role also boasts an above average pension (Up to 20% combined) and a performance related bonus, linked to company and personal performance along with other attractive benefits.
