Payroll Manager - Gloucester

£30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits - Accountancy / Finance

Award winning professional services business in Gloucester is seeking a Payroll Manager. You will have previous experience managing a payroll team, and thrive in process improvement. There is flexibility to work from home, but long term this role will be based in the Gloucester office.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, responsibilities will include:

 

  • Manage the end to end payroll process for c1200 employees
  • Ensure payroll records are up to date in terms of personal data, pay elements and deductions
  • Prepare payroll reports and compile summaries of earnings, deductions, taxes etc
  • Determine payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of PAYE/ NIC, SAYE, pension deductions
  • Perform checks on payroll information to ensure payroll queries and discrepancies are resolved
  • Process improvement
  • Manage a small and growing payroll team

 

Your Profile:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Can do attitude
  • Strong management skills
  • Experience of SAGE is preferable
