You will be working for this business based near Fishponds who are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join on a full time, permanent basis. You will be required to provide an efficient and effective payroll and HR administration service, ensuring all staff are paid on time and in line with the HMRC guidelines and that all employees and managers are provided with key information on all HR policies and procedures.
This will involve statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP and pension contributions, and statutory deduction, processing starters and leavers, payroll year end, expenses claims and handling timesheets.
The successful candidate will be required to administer HR related tasks. This includes, but not limited to, drafting contracts, letter correspondence, setting up new starters and conducting pre-employment checks, updating personnel info when required, processing holiday requests, typing confidential minutes and supporting managers with end of probation reviews.
The successful candidate must be willing to take on other reasonable adhoc duties at the instruction of the HR Accounts Manager. Including the administration of the vehicle fleet, such as - booking repairs and servicing, insuring vehicles, handling the administration of accidents, processing motor fines and appeals and updating the vehicle log.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience processing payroll from start to finish is essential
Proven experience in HR administration is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent IT Skills, including Excel and Word
