Payroll Administrator - Bristol - Central

Element Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fun and dynamic professional services company in Central Bristol.  You will manage the day to day payroll, deal with client payroll queries, project support, basic bookkeeping during downtime and any other ad hoc tasks. This is a critical role and you’ll deliver excellent service, inside strict deadlines. You must have excellent time management skills, be able to develop and build on ideas and suggestions month on month to improve the efficiency, service offering, and accuracy of the payroll.

This is a full-time role paying £23,000 - £26,000

Duties include:

  • Managing day to day payroll
  • Speaking to clients with payroll queries
  • Collecting and processing the various submissions requirements for each payroll, to check and advise on payroll matters in addition to the employees’ pay
  • Managing the pension accounts along with employee expenses and benefits
  • Keeping up to date with changes in legislation, how they impact our customers and how we implement a solution - in the current climate 

You will have:

  • 2+ years payroll experience
  • Experience with pensions administration
  • Studying towards CIPP or similar qualification (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Although the office is based in Central Bristol, the team are working remotely at the moment.
