Do you have experience of payroll? Have you previously worked in a growing SME?

A family owned business in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processes company's payroll every pay period
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data
  • Computing employee take-home pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
  • Answering staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
  • Adhering to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
  • Identifying and correcting discrepancies
  • Producing reports for management
  • Performs the distribution of wages

You will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • High levels of accuracy
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
