The Opportunity

Element are partnering alongside Brothers Drinks to recruit a Management Accountant.  This is a newly created opportunity to work alongside the Finance Manager/Financial Controller.

You will have management of the BD cost base, ensuring a focus on value and ROI.  Business partnering of the Production and Properties business units and supporting the work of the finance team in creating a performance-driving, value-creating function.

As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will comprise but not be limited to:

  • Play a key role in developing a culture of continuous improvement and right first time in Finance. 
  • Ensuring accurate recording and reporting of spend, identifying and driving opportunities for gaining higher value returns and efficiencies.
  • Providing high quality reporting and information to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Support the FC & FM in developing timely month end and year end close processes, ensuring accurate and usable financial information is available on a timely basis.
  • Support the finance team & Data Analyst to deliver a comprehensive reporting suite of MI that empowers the wider business with actionable insight.
  • Develop and produce accurate and insightful Board reporting materials.
  • Produce accurate and effective budgeting and forecasting data & reports.
  • Partner with department heads and business units providing on-going insight into past and future financial information, bringing clarity, ensuring ‘no surprises’ and driving performance.
  • Partner with Operations on Cost Down projects, developing and driving annual savings targets.
  • Partner the Board and functional teams on developing the new Kilver Court business.
  • Own the day-to-day production and reporting of spend within the business and supporting the FM on Revenue & COGs.
  • Ensuring accurate and complete stock management and supporting the stock take process.
  • Support the Payroll and Compliance leader in delivering 100% accuracy of external submissions and a complex payroll.
  • Ensuring that the team lives and breathes our cultural behaviours and helping to create a performance driving mentality.
  • Any and all duties as needed to support an agile and entrepreneurial business to succeed.

The Profile

  • Ideally Finalist/Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience working within a fast-growing/changing business environment preferrable
  • Proven communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in retail or property industries
