Management Accountant - Cheltenham

Commercially driven, fast paced organisation in Cheltenham, is seeking a Management Accountant during a period of rapid growth. Based in Cheltenham, there is the added benefit of being close to all the local cafes and restaurants! There will be some flexibility around working from home, but the expectation will be at least 3-4 days in the office, so being located close by is essential. 

Reporting into the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:

• Oversee Purchase & Sales Ledger Process
• Prepare weekly status reports with variance analysis
• Reconciliation and posting of credit card statements
• Prepare monthly & quarterly reporting packs 
• Support with preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Provide support during audit process and assist in preparation of the statutory accounts
• Cash management and treasury duties
• Prepare and post month end accruals
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare Quarterly VAT returns
• Ensure appropriate accounting processes, systems and internal controls are maintained

Your Profile:

• Positive "go get" attitude
• Strong MS Excel
• AAT qualified / ACCA or CIMA studier / Qualified by experience
