Management Accountant - Cheltenham

Management Accountant : £30,000-£35,000 : 12 Month FTC : Cheltenham

Our client is an International Company, with a globally recognised brand. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant for a 12 month maternity cover. The role is management of a small finance team, providing support and assistance for the European Finance Manager.

• Oversee the Purchase & Sales ledger teams
• Prepare weekly status reports with variance analysis
• Prepare monthly & quarterly reporting packs for submission to Group
• Support with preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Provide support during the audit process and preparation of the statutory accounts
• Cash management and treasury duties
• Prepare and post month end accruals
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensuring that appropriate accounting processes, systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and queries

You will be experienced, and ideally have some leadership experience. You will be either qualified, part-qualified or a QBE. You will have extensive management accounting experience, and also have some financial accounting exposure (Year End).

This is a great business, and a very close team. It is a fun environment to work in Cheltenham, and there may be some flexibility for part-home working during the pandemic.
