Have you worked on an IT Helpdesk? Looking for a new Helpdesk Level 1 & 2 role in a dynamic and energetic Tech company in Bristol?

We are looking to recruit a IT Support Technician for our prestigious Tech client based in Bristol. As this is a real customer service based role, we’re looking for strong communication skills, over the phone, email and in person.

You must have experience in providing first line support for users who have problems with MS Office, Office 365 , Internet, Extranet, Email (Exchange Clients) within both Windows and Mac environments. 

Permanent role paying £24,000 - £28,000

Duties include:

  • Provide 1st line support for MS Office and internal software
  • Provide 2nd line support functions agreed by the Helpdesk manager, escalating as required
  • Provide IT training to new starters
  • Modifying systems
  • Problem solving
  • To work unsupervised to resolve problems
  • To work out of hours, when required, to resolve problems
  • To work on project-based assignments as directed by head of IT
  • To take responsibility for designated 2nd line functions as agreed

You’ll have experience in:

  • Windows 10 desktop support 
  • Apple mac desktop support 
  • CCNA or working towards CCNA or other relevant networking certification 
  • Good understanding of Wifi deployments
  • Some working Knowledge of Firewalls
  • Office 365 email, Teams and SharePoint administration 
  • A calm approach with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • The ability to analyse problems and help people to work efficiently

This role is currently home working due to COVID 19. Going forward you will need to work in the office for approximately 3 days per week. Occasional travel to sites will be required.
