Interim Head of Service - Gloucestershire

Hours: 0.6 FTE to Full Time (37.5 hours per week, as agreed) - Must include Fridays
Responsible to: CEO
Temporary from the end of January until April 2025

Paying £19.49 - £20.51 per hour

The charity is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead the delivery of high-quality service. As the Interim Head of Service, you will manage and develop the service delivery team, ensuring all services are accessible, effective, and aligned with our values. You will play a pivotal role in external training, safeguarding, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the charity.

This is an interim role while recruiting for the permanent vacancy, and you will have the opportunity to apply for the role while there.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of services, ensuring clients receive person-centred support.
• Manage team recruitment, performance, and development.
• Oversee the quality of services, ensuring compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and accreditation standards.
• Promote the charity through partnerships, networking, and raising awareness.
• Lead external training

Person Specification:

• Strong commitment to the charity’s mission and values.
• Proven operational management experience, including HR, budgets, and project management.
• Experience in trauma-informed support and working with survivors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding best practices and relevant legislation.
