Group Tax Manager - Bristol - Central

Element Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-recognised UK business as they look to engage with a Group Tax Manager, on a part time basis. (3-4 days per week)

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you will manage all of the group's tax affairs including quarterly group VAT returns and VAT projects, completion of corporate tax returns and tax accounting. You will be the group's 'go to' person for all tax related matters and provide a collaborative business partnering service with key stakeholders throughout the business. You will also embrace and drive the continuous improvement vision of the organisation and support the head of accounting with other adhoc finance projects where necessary.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant, with experience of corporate tax, tax accounting and VAT, potentially from an accounting firm. You will have a proactive approach to tax matters with an ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

This role is open to a candidate looking to work 3-4 days per week with a mixture of working remotely and office based (Bristol) working (due to COVID-19).
