Group Finance Controller - Gloucester

PE backed, entrepreneurial technology business near Gloucester is looking for an ambitious and hands on Group Financial Controller. The position will have high exposure to the Private Equity fund and suit someone articulate and commercially astute. As the business is still in a phase of growth, you will need to be hands on in the short term. You will be involved in integration projects, lead change in a growing PE backed organisation, and have the opportunity to progress to future directorship. 

The Role:

• Prepare insightful and accurate management accounts
• Group Consolidation
• Managing Trial Balances across 10 + entities, with several in the US
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Prepare VAT
• Liaise with external auditors, preparing audit pack
• Implement Controls

Your Experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Jurisdictional agility preferably with US experience
• Understanding of PE background
• Ability to improve processes and cash flow
• Ideally experience in M&A 
• Ideally experience in post acquisition integration
• Experience in taking a small business to a big business control environment
