As the Finance budgeting Analyst, you’ll use your business partnering skills with stakeholders to offer advice based on financial modelling. You’ll need to be commercial, identifying patterns & discrepancies in financial activity. You’ll be essential to how the business operates advising on commercial strategy, policy change & goals to improve profits.
Your responsibilities will include;
• Prepare and review regular reporting
• Provide insightful commentary developed with the business highlighting risks & opportunities
• Preparation of budgets & forecasts, pricing recommendations & commercial planning
• Create routine & adhoc reports in the BI (Business Intelligence) tool
• Provide ad hoc commercial analysis
• Develop & drive improvements to forecasting, reporting & other financial processes to gain better control & visibility of performance
To be a success in this role you’ll need;
• Part Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or AAT Qualified.
• Good Management Accounting experience
• Previous experience using of a business intelligence tools
• Commercially minded with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Excel skills are essential
