You’ll be partnering with the leadership team to drive financial performance and manage risk across the business. You will lead a team of financial professionals to help deliver significant growth expectations and meet ever more challenging financial goals whilst protecting the enterprise and adhering to the highest standards of ethics and compliance. As a member of the Finance leadership team, you will help formulate and deliver functional priorities and strategies. You will have strong leadership and business partnering skills as well as in-depth understanding and direct experience of commercial negotiations, business planning, scheduling and analysis.


  • Support Managers, organisations and functional areas to set stretching financial objectives
  • Ensure that realistic budgets are set and attained for multiple projects across the business
  • Monitor organisational financial and schedule metrics to support budgetary planning and to determine corrective action to maintain target performance levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external customers
  • Develop and implement large-scale, high impact integrated organisational plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved.
  • Work with other Finance leaders to streamline processes and improve communication
  • Coach and mentor employees and team leaders, as well as providing development opportunities and support to expand the capabilities of the team.

As a Financial Operations Manager you have:

  • Accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with 5 years + PQE
  • Strong technical background, with the ability to guide and develop others in the essential financial management skills
  • Demonstrable business acumen and experience of negotiations
  • Proven team management experience (10+)
  • A proven ability to see opportunities and risks and to manage them to create enhanced value for the organisation
  • A positive work attitude and team-building approach
  • Strong business partnering and influencing skills; able to explain and troubleshoot financial issues with non-finance professionals and inspire them to achieve greater financial performance
