Finance Director | Highly Acquisitive business - Bristol

Element is proud to be partnering alongside a long-standing, acquisitive Bristol client to appoint their new Finance Director/UK CFO. Following a sizeable 2022 acquisition, this business has seen month-on-month growth and has invested heavily in talent acquisition across the UK business.

This role will be working very closely alongside the Group MD and UK CEO to deliver on an ambitious 3-year plan. You will oversee and lead a pre-existing team of qualified accountants (10 FTE) and have full responsibility for the entire Finance/IT functions.

You will thrive within a fast-paced and dynamic environment and enjoy improving/optimising systems and processes. If you pride yourself on being 'hands-on' and passionate about developing systems/processes to align with business strategy, this could be a role for you.

Accountabilities;

You will be responsible for the management of the Finance/IT function and partnering very closely with the Group Managing Director.

Focus areas of the position will include;

• Finance lead on the new 2023 ERP system implementation (SAP)
• Responsibility for improvement of procedures and controls within the finance function
• Management of key business relationships (Investors/Banks/C-suite/Group)
• Development and training of growing finance team
