Location: Newport (will need own transport)

Salary: £19,000

Purpose of the role:

Working within a fast moving professional services environment as part of a team of Finance Data Administrators. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, processing requests for financial information and maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.

Duties will include:

The role will initially entail reviewing data within excel templates and communicating by email.

Processing data through large MSExcel spreadsheets.

Progression is encouraged and additional duties will comprise both technical processing and providing a helpline service to your clients.

Liaise on a regular basis with clients and payroll departments.

Answer technical queries helpline through email and telephone.

Provide accurate data to be processed through client payrolls.

Learn and understand HMRC guidelines.

Undertake compliance checks  and advise employees of inaccuracies providing guidance as appropriate.

Run, filter, sort and validate reports.

Work with Partners who work remote to the office.

Training on the job will be provided for the products and related work.

Working as part of a team but taking responsibility for quality of own work and checking others.

Occasionally a small amount of travel may be required to attend client meetings with Partners or other team members. 

Experience require: 

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, you will be dealing with clients both on the telephone and face to face at client review meetings.

Attention to detail.

Numerical Reasoning.

Customer focused and work well in team environment.

Excellent professional telephone manner.

Intermediate level of MSExcel, Outlook and Word.

Understand the importance and work with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and within a Professional Services environment.

Able to work under pressure and to deadlines.

The role would suit either a recent Graduate with a Business/Financial Services/Accounting and Finance etc degree or, someone with experience working within pensions administration, insurance, IFA , employment taxes, Financial Services, payroll or similar background.
