Finance Assistant - Bristol

You will be working for an SME holiday company in central business, reporting directly to the finance manager:

  • Bank account administration
  • Petty Cash 
  • Base Sales administration 
  • Accounts Receivable - (links with bespoke booking system)
  • Accounts Payable  
  • Journals in Sage 200
  • BACS runs
  • Payroll (some previous experience helpful but not essential as full training will be given)
  • Auto-enrolment Pension (some previous experience helpful but not essential as full training will be given)
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with month and year end
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Handle confidential documents and maintain strict confidentiality throughout the role
  • Other duties and projects as required

Desirable Requirements:

  • At least 1 year in ledger styled role
  • Good knowledge of excel and confidence working with all Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of Sage 200/50 accounting software
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Willingness to take on additional work as the role progresses
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload while maintaining accuracy
  • Be an effective communicator via email and phone

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

25 days holiday plus bank holidays
