We are partnering with a North Bristol based client in the not for profit sector who are looking to find a finance professional to join a pivotal role within their finance function.
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll enjoy a fantastic working environment, whilst you build on your finance experience & work with a diverse group of internal colleagues partnering with the management accounting team. You’re comfortable working with minimal supervision, self-motivated & task-orientated. You enjoy multi-tasking & having a varied workflow, including accounting & general office support.
Your responsibilities will include;
• Posting Sales and Purchase Ledger invoices • Cashbook reconciliations • Cash allocation • Balance sheet reconciliations • Assisting with VAT returns • Processing journals
To be a success in this role you’ll need;
• Ideally 1-2 years’ experience working in a finance department • Be qualified or studying AAT • Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage with finance/non-finance staff • Able to multi-task & adapt to the business needs • Experience with using SAGE
