A reputable business on the outskirts of Gloucester is seeking a Finance and Merchandising Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This business is based in e-commerce and wholesale, so an understanding of the retail sector would be advantageous!

Your role will be varied, and no two days will be the same. From managing the PO system, influencing business strategy, analysing finance data and communicating between departments, you will be an integral part of this ambitious workforce.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Raise purchase orders on SAP
  • Coordinating freight deliveries
  • Analyse sales data and have input into operational strategy
  • Approve invoices and reconcile supplier accounts
  • Review and manage supplier performance
  • Cashflow forecasting, maintain strong margins and payment terms
  • Manage communication between departments
