Estates Accountant - Wells

We're currently working with a Privately owned rural estate to find an Estates Accountant. Mainly remote working with some travel to Somerset (1-2 times a fortnight.) You'll be working closely with other staff on the estate, and liaising with external accountants. This role suits a Qualified / Qualified by experience accountant with strong attention to detail, and a discreet nature. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Prepare monthly management reports
• Maintain long and short term cash flow models
• Produce draft annual reports
• Liaise with external accountants re statutory and ad hoc matters
• Accounts Receivable 
• Assist in Payroll
• Negotiate contracts / ad hoc project work

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant / or Qualified by experience
• Ideally experience working with a private estate / family office / small practice
• Experience of Xero is desirable
