Director of Corporate Tax - Bristol - Central

Overview
We are seeking a Corporate Tax Director to join a dynamic top 20 firm. This role will provide tax advisory services for a broad portfolio of clients including large corporate businesses and SME/owner managed businesses.You will be joining a team that has an established book of business that you can take ownership of as well as the opportunity to grown the business further.

Duties

• In collaboration with the Head of Department and team members, accountable for building relationships and generating new business opportunities to offer a range of tax and additional services.
• Full responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients, demonstrating strong technical expertise in your area of specialization.
• Proficient in overseeing and nurturing client relationships, aiming to expand business both within your existing client base and through new prospects.
• Responsible for mentoring and developing associate directors and other team members.
• Ensuring exceptional client service while effectively managing conduct risks.
• Actively contributing to the management and operations of your department or office, as applicable.

Experience

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential; and a professional qualification (e.g., CTA/ACA/ ACCA)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
