You will be working for this Avonmouth based business who are recruiting for a Credit Litigation Officer (12 month contract role)

Daily duties cover:

  • Actively chase and manage accounts requiring payment via telephone and SMS where appropriate, in a timely manor
  • Maintain relevant spreadsheets to account for leases and the end of lease options
  • Provide weekly stats for the Leasing Team whilst maintaining the stats spreadsheet
  • Providing instructions to solicitors where litigation is deemed necessary. Liaising with solicitors for periodic updates on these cases
  • Keeping an up to date inventory of equipment held at the Auctioneers
  • Providing assistance to the Leasing Coordinators as and when required
  • Ensuring that Bad Debt is kept within company budgeted provision
  • Maintain the accounts with up to date mandate instructions
  • Manage the direct debit run according to time constraints
  • Update customer accounts with any transactions received by BACS
  • Issuing end of lease Invoices
  • Issuing VAT Invoices

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Previous experience from within a similar role – collections or credit control experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working within a fast paced, changeable credit control environment
  • Able to manage own workload
  • Is flexible in approaching a variety of tasks and able to think outside the box
