Based in Bristol, but with offices globally the finance team is going through a period of growth and transition: A new programme of improvement projects and a group-wide ERP system implementation are just kicking off and as part of this transformation a few progressive finance roles have been created to assist with expected growth and continuing international acquisitions. Put simply this is a very exciting time to join a very exciting business!
The Senior Cost Accountant will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and has both responsibility for the group wide management reporting on budget and spend, production of information and analysis to support decision making and profit improvement, as well as managing the Accounts Payable team. So you get a role mixing leadership, reporting and a chance to really impact the financial performance of the group!
You will own and be responsible for group-wide monthly reporting and interpretation and then in unison with the Group FC, ensure that the business is managing its performance and analysing and improving its contribution to profit.
You will be a qualified accountant, possess good MS Excel skills and have analysis, management reporting & ideally have some (CAPEX / OPEX) experience.
