Clojure Developer - Remote Based

We have partnered with a industry leading UK based Global tech company who are growing their development teams and are looking for developers with experience in clojure/clojurescript to help build front end visualisations with some handling of back end data processing. Along with working with a great team of remotely based developers around the world you'll be joining a fast paced collaborative team environment with excellent career development opportunities.     

Technical skill set

• Clojure API, ClojureScript Front End,
• Figwheel, re-frame, ring
• Postgres databases 
• AWS, Fargate, Docker, Github Actions
• Back end Clojure systems for data migration

• Desirable skills​
• Build reusable components to use across the app.
• Create interesting visualisations with our data set, using SVG or other.
• Work with our existing relational database
• Mentor junior team members
• Demonstrate and evangelise best practices in Clojure/Script and beyond
• Cross-train programmers with JavaScript & React experience
• Keep an eye on new ideas and libraries in the Clojure/Script ecosystem
• A good understanding of React would be an advantage
