Cashiering Team Leader - Bristol

As the Cashiering Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of 6 clerks. You’ll be commercial, with excellent communication & negotiations skills. Your day-to-day can be varied & you’ll be comfortable taking an agile approach to achieving internal KPIs / goals. You’ve experience of leading others & are invested in the development of your team.

Your daily duties will cover:

  • Line management tasks of the Finance clerks, directing their work and making sure they are managing the team to enable delivery of tasks to the correct standard.
  • Overseeing the accurate reconciling and posting of all the financial transactional information onto the finance system.
  • Answering team member questions, helping with team member problems, and overseeing team member work for quality and guideline compliance.
  • Communicating deadlines and goals to team members.
  • Any items that have been escalated over 60days unresolved to be investigated and actioned.
  • Reviewing the teams cash differences on a fortnightly basis to ensure they are resolving / escalating as appropriate.

You will need to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Experienced Team Leader with a passion for developing people & process.
  • Expert Excel knowledge, strong reconciliation experience.
  • Strong ability to engage & motivate people to drive results.
  • Excellent planning & organisational skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision making and problem-solving skills.
