Cash & Banking Assistant - Bristol - East

£12.00 per hour - Temporary Industry - Accountancy / Finance

Our client is in need of a temporary Cash & Banking Assistant for an initial period 3 months. You will ensure the timely posting of bank and cash data to meet the company’s deadlines and maintain an accurate record of balances owed from customers. You will need to hit the ground running on this role so experience is essential. Please not that external Credit Control / Collection activities are not part of this role.

Data & record management

  • Monitor bank transactions, process incoming SAP cash postings & complete summary files
  • Manual self-bill matching and data entry
  • Intercompany cash collections and clearings
  • Proforma Account Reconciliations
  • Process shared remittance inboxes daily

Daily accounts receivable processing

  • Follow up, monitor and resolve unallocated cash receipts working with the General Ledger team
  • Coordination with Customer Services to resolve discrepancies, disputes and short payments with Customers
  • Submission and reconciliation of invoices to invoicing portals essential
  • Answer / investigate Customer queries proactively

You will have:

  • Experience using SAP (highly desirable)
  • Experience working in a Shared Service Centre (highly desirable)
  • Ability to perform under challenging circumstances
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Results orientated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic contributor
