Assistant Management Accountant

£ 25,000 - £ 28,000 | City Centre

This position will offer an opportunity for the candidate to develop existing knowledge as well as the chance to work within a very energetic working culture. As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be assisting to produce management accounts, budgets and other financial analysis to enable the business to make well informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and posting of month-end payroll journals
• Preparation and posting of other month-end journals including accruals & prepayments
• Reconciliation of nominal ledger accounts and other balance sheet items
• Support with analysis and commentary of variances to budget and forecasts
• Assisting in the completion of quarterly VAT returns

Skills:

• Ideally you will be AAT Qualified and studying towards CIMA or ACCA,
• 3-4 years experience of working within a busy finance team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Excel
