Assistant Management Accountant - Gloucester

This small but welcoming finance team is seeking a dedicated Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Controller as the business continues to grow. You will be supported in continuing your studies, as well as benefiting from generous company benefits.

Being able to interface with Commercial, Operational and Purchasing teams is essential to having a full working knowledge of the business and be successful within this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Producing detailed Management Accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• EC sales listings & statutory returns
• Liaising with credit control to monitor cashflow
• Influence commercial decision making through the analysis of financial data
• Ad-hoc reporting

You will be:

• A part-qualified accountant
• Experience in producing management accounts
• An advanced user of Excel (sumif, pivot tables)
• Proactive and forward thinking
• Dedicated with attention to detail
