Assistant Financial Accountant

£ 24,000 - £ 27,000 | Hybrid | South Bristol

An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join an evolving and entrepreneurial brand as an Assistant Financial Accountant. This business has multiple awards and due to recent change, is looking to introduce additional resource to their finance function.

This position will offer an opportunity for the candidate to develop existing knowledge as well as the chance to work within a very energetic working culture.

The Role

• Support the core month end accounting processes
• Preparation of month end journals and reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the generation of the budget and forecasts as required
• Reports preparation showing costs against budget/ forecast

The Profile

• Ideally you will be AAT Qualified and studying towards CIMA or ACCA,
• At least 1-2 years’ experience working within a finance team
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
