A great chance has arisen for a determined and passionate individual to join a fast-growing firm as an Assistant Accountant. As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for maintain accurate and up to date records to facilitate efficient and effective decision making throughout the organisation.

As the Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance but also work closely with the Sales Operations and Customer Success Teams to ensure the smooth on boarding of new customers.

Responsibly

• Preparing and posting journals
• Assisting with month end process
• Account and bank reconciliations
• Invoice handling (incoming and outgoing)
• Assisting with payment runs

The Profile

• Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or fully AAT Qualified.
• At least 2 years’ experience working within a finance team
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Practical experience using Xero Accounting software is desirable
