Assistant Accountant - Bristol - North

You will be working within an internationally operating group company. The business has been expanding over the last few years and has established itself as one of the market leaders. Due to the continued growth of the business they are looking to strengthen the finance team with this newly created pivotal role.

You are looking to be a key part of the team as an Assistant Accountant, supporting with a variety of finance tasks. You’ll be good at maths & like working with numbers. You understand the importance of working with confidential information, being detail & deadline orientated. You enjoy working with others, being reliable & getting to use your great interpersonal skills.

•  Balance sheet reconciliations
•  Produce and review journal entries
•  Interrogate transactions that result in unexplained entries on balance sheet reconciliations
•  Purchase Ledger
•  Sales Ledger
•  Credit Control
•  Calculate accruals and prepayments in accordance with GAAP

•  Ideally studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA
•  Have the ability / comfortable dealing with customers queries over the phone
•  Strong Excel skills
•  Excellent Attention to detail
