Administration / Compliance Manager
Hanham, Bristol (Hybrid Remote)
Salary: £27k–£37k (Dependent on Experience/Progression)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm (Flexible)

An experienced and proactive Administration / Compliance Manager is required to join a growing team based in Hanham, Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic, fast-paced company that offers substantial growth within the role.

The role is initially office-based 4–5 days a week during the training period, before transitioning to a hybrid setup (2–3 days in the office). As the Administration Manager, you will oversee all admin processes across the subsidiaries and work closely with directors and the team to keep the business running smoothly. The position involves both strategic process development and day-to-day support.

Key Responsibilities

  • General administrative support across the business
  • Onboarding new starters and supporting HR functions
  • Booking courses and managing training schedules
  • Managing subcontractor needs
  • Keeping company records and documentation up to date
  • Booking travel and accommodation for operatives
  • Assisting with audit compliance
  • Supporting directors with ad hoc tasks and admin
  • Filing and maintaining incident reports

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Great attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Experience working in the rail industry
  • Confidence using digital platforms (experience with Sentinel is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience in compliance, HR, or operations
  • Familiarity with audit processes (RISQS, ISO)
