Element Recruitment is pleased to be working in partnership with a professional services business based in Swindon that is looking for an Account Assistant to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business and work in a supportive and friendly environment. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Raise credit notes, process account transfers, and manage write-off requests.
  • Maintain and reconcile client accounts, ensuring compliance.
  • Process CHAPS, BACS, and cheque payments efficiently.
  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers by processing invoices and reconciling payments.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and handle petty cash.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes and reporting
  • Support VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Client-focused, with excellent service delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Knowledge of financial processes and compliance.
  • Collaborative team player with attention to detail.
